11/05/2007 - St. Louis, MO (Sportsbook Betting Lines) - St. Louis forward David Backes will miss four weeks with an injured left medial collateral ligament, team president John Davidson announced on Monday.

Backes, who was given an MRI on Monday by Dr. Rick Wright at Barnes-Jewish Hospital, suffered the injury during the first period of the Blues' 3-2 loss to Chicago on Saturday.

The Blues' second-round pick (62nd overall) in the 2003 draft, Backes had appeared in 12 games with the Blues this season, recording two goals and two assists.

For his career, Backes has 12 goals and 15 assists in 61 games.

Terrell Owens could return for Cowboys next game
